OK, it's been a while since I was here. So what has inspired me to write in the blog again? Well, Monday night saw us play a lounge gig at James' pad in Shepherds Bush. James and Bean both did a couple of songs solo, on acoustic guitar. It was, simply, a real pleasure to listen to them. James was as ever impressive with his fingerpicking style. Bean, who i've not heard perform solo before, really impressed with his 2 song set, which included "All Washed Up", a particular highlight for me (although the rest of the audience also enjoyed it). EtherCity Came, Rocked and Conkered, then, just after a raucous shout of Encore had gone up from the crowd, Captain decided to get down on one knee! Not unusual in itself, but this time it was to ask Sally (his girlfriend - nobody elses, just to clarify) to marry him. She said yes by the way...
