Hello world !
The new year has seen an eruption of new material develop in the city of ether. We are all working on some great new tunes and looking forward to getting them out there into the world for you to hear. There will be some new stuff very soon and we are hoping some gigs as well. In the interim we continue to beaver away conjuring up new wonders that put smiles on our cheeky faces.

I've never really sat behind Captains drumkit until last Monday, when Captain and James decided to have a band weigh-in, in their pants. The fear of seeing Captain in his jocks posing on a set of scales to the sound of Hero by Bonnie Tyler, was a bit overpowering for a Monday night. So I sat with sticks in hand blanking out the view.

Mr Roe, he guided me back in when I failed the old a-levels. Gave me the space and the confidence to crack on and focus on them again. I'm sure he did the same for a lot of others. A good old boy. What a school.

To everyone who has come to see us over the last few gigs a big thank you. Its great seeing everyone getting into the tunes, we get a real buzz out of it. These gigs just seem to fly by when you are up on stage, even more so when you're having fun - and thats something that is important to us, hopefully it shows. Next stop is the acoustic gig which i'm really looking forward to. Its a whole new mix of songs that I think sound fantastic, hopefully you will too if you can make it. In the meantime, we'll be practising, getting as much recording done as we can and maybe getting a few new tunes written aswell. Shine on angels. xxx

Well, as James has mentioned, we took a trip to the windswept seaside of Brighton. There was no sign of Chris Eubank, or Fatboy Slim, but hey ho ! I bought me a new guitar. Of course, a telecaster, a beauty at that. So light and thin, its like Kylie Minogue with strings. I'm not going to show you a picture of it, you'll have to come and see us live! James managed to nearly spear his head on a flying V while inspecting the underside of the guitar and as the shop looked around after hearing the clatter and asking James 'Are you OK' James responded 'I'm fine, I'm more worried about the guitar'. All hail GAK in Brighton, the Tescos of guitar shops (no blue and white stripe guitars though}. I'll leave you with this... Next time you hear God Gave Rock n Roll To You, by Kiss, sing God Gave Sausage Rolls To You instead. It may well brighten your day.

I've sliced it down to three guitars, still unsure which to get. A natural finish Telecaster, a black custom 72 telecaster, or a black Fender Jaguar. The bank really wouldn't like me buying all three. Although, I would like all three.
